#EquestrianBlogtober Day 17: Your favourite horsey Bloggers/Vloggers to follow
That's a pretty tough title actually, but first a quick up date on this morning's work. The fluffy pony is now naked.😨
An impressive amount of fluff from a fine coated boy. Oh and yes, I'm itchy. How does the hair get there?
Now, my favourite Bloggers.
The first blog I read regularly is still a Friday essential for me. I am a Hovite, following the life of Hovis thanks to Horse and Hound and his Friday Diary
Hovis is soon to release his 6th book, which raises funds for Bransby Horses, his local Equine Welfare Charity. He is also making his second appearance at Your Horse Live this year.
Life is short and I'll be honest, I don't spend vast amounts of my precious time reading Blogs but I am building a list of Bloggers I look out for, Hovis seldom fails to make me smile, another who also lightens my mood is The Diary of a Wimpy Eventer
Vic is so open and honest, giving really good advice and telling her stories with a great sense of the absurdity to be found with horses. The Wimpy Eventer is an award winning blog, and rightly so.
I also enjoy following Equipepper, Ruby is another award winning Blogger, and rightfully so. She balances humour with serious information that can help others retraining racehorses, which is not always easy!
I 'discovered' Vic and Ruby through the publicity they got as award winners. Taking part in the #EquestrianBlogtober Blog hop I am discovering new bloggers, trying to read a new one every day through October. One has really caught my attention.
Reading the story of a woman looking after her horse without the gift of sight is both humbling and enlightening.
Ok, that's enough, I could go on and on there are so many people telling their stories of life with their horses, and every one I read teaches me something new. That's what is so great about horses, there is always something new to learn.
There are so many to check out on the #EquestrianBlogtober Blog Hop
