I trotted on Alfie today!

Sorry, no action pictures, but I did get a hat hair selfie.

I watched Matteo ride Alfie & it's great to see the muscle building back up over his quarters. The team at Talland school of equitation are doing a great job with him.

I did feel fairly pathetic struggling with rising trot. I don't know who is controlling my right leg, it definitely isn't doing what I tell it. Hopefully working with Helen at Peteremides Personal Training I will be able to strengthen the weak muscles & learn how to control that wayward leg.

I guess it's good for my teaching - to be reminded how difficult balance can be, and maintaining the rhythm of the trot.

Now I'm off to see if I can attach video to the blog. It may mean using my laptop instead of the phone app. Oh well, eventually I'll get a new one.
